RV Camping – Bring Your Favorite Tea for Added Comfort
One of the biggest appeals of RV travel is the ability to enjoy all the comforts of home while on the road, so don’t forget the little luxuries that make your RV home…. like your favorite tea.
I’m more of a “gotta have my coffee” guy, but my wife prefers her tea when traveling. For me, coffee is a necessity, but for her having her favorite tea is a quiet comfort that makes her feel right at home even when camping.
I generally have a couple of 1lb Starbucks bags of ground french roast stocked at all times.
I know, I’m a little snobby when it comes to coffee, but I’m also at a point in my life where I will gladly pay a couple extra bucks for my enjoyment. That being said, take a look at the image below to see what my wife stocks in our RV’s cupboards.
I’m not sure if there is a tea for every occasion or every time of day.
Apparently we both have a caffeine problem. At any rate, if you too find yourself in need of a quick fix on your next RV trip you may want to check out these premium RV products for brewing your favorite tea or coffee.
Best RV Tea Kettle:
Proctor Silex K2070YA Electric Kettle, 1-Liter This little beauty will let you take advantage of electrical hook-ups and get your water to a boil faster than the stove. This thing gets plenty of use.
Sweet Little Coffee Brewer for your RV:
The Bunn MCU Coffee brewer is a pretty nice little coffee pot. I like it because it works great, doesn’t take up much space and can brew anything from a single cup of coffee to a small pot of my favorite Starbucks. You can brew K-Cups, pods, ground coffee, tea bags or dispense hot water, so I guess this one really does do it all. There is an added bonus with the Bunn MCU, you can actually set the brewing process for a more bold or less bold flavor.
If you or someone you know has a tea ritual, the following may be for you
Starts off the morning with a small cup of Matcha Green Tea. This involves some type of whisk, one big scoopful of Matcha tea with about 4 ounces of water. I personally have not tried it but, she says a little matcha in the morning, and you’ll never need coffee again.
After Morning Ritual:
Moves to what appears to be a much more refreshing type of tea drink, a Masala Chai Tea. This is a quick, simple drink to go; pour both the Chai Tea Concentrate and the milk into a glass, stirring to combine them. Add a large handful of ice, and drink immediately.
At lunch, she likes to do another little caffeinated pick me up to get her going again. Organic Skinny Natural Tea is her usual go-to.
